Strelitzia Nicolai – The Elegant Bird of Paradise Plant
Strelitzia Nicolai has large, green leaves that grow in a beautiful, fan-shaped structure. The leaves are firm and have a slight sheen, giving the plant an elegant appearance. Although this plant rarely flowers indoors, in the wild it produces impressive white and blue flowers that resemble birds of paradise.
Location: Strelitzia Nicolai thrives best in a bright spot with indirect sunlight. It can also tolerate direct sunlight if slowly acclimated. This plant is perfect for indoor use, but can also be placed in warm outdoor areas.
Water requirement: Water the plant when the top layer of soil feels dry. Avoid leaving the plant in water as this can lead to root rot. In spring and summer, water more frequently, while reducing watering in autumn and winter.
