Caring for the Areca Palm:
Areca thrives in light, but does not prefer direct sunlight. Water the golden palm regularly to keep the soil moist. Make sure there is no water in the pot to avoid root rot. Occasionally the leaves like to be moistened. This is not necessary, but helps to preserve the beautiful leaves and prevents insect attack. The ideal temperature for the Areca palm is between 18 and 24 °C.
